Kromex Limited, based in Stanton near Bury St. Edmunds produce high quality screen inks which are distributed internationally. A.C. Webb was taken on to carry out the full design and installation of the electrical installation within their factory and warehouse. This included the upgrade of the incoming three phase supply to 500kvA and the installation of the associated bespoke main switch panel.
The existing internal distribution system, supplying a multitude of high load machinery, was replaced with new sub-mains supplying 630Amp bus-bar trunking. This provided a fixed distribution system allowing the versatility to allow future additions and alterations within the factory without the requirement for further alterations to the distribution system.
The lighting was replaced so as to meet current regulations and the general installation completely replaced so as to bring it up to current standards. |
