Public Sector - Abbots Green & Rendlesham Primary Schools
Working for Suffolk County Council, A.C. Webb were delighted to be involved in the construction of two new Primary Schools, the first being Abbots Green in Bury St. Edmunds and the second in Rendlesham near Woodbridge, Suffolk.
We were commissioned to carry out the full electrical installation including the design and installation of the electrical services throughout the school, wireless and cabled data networking, fire and intruder alarms, CCTV, lightning conductor systems, along with the electrical installations associated with specialist items such as a eco-friendly wood fired boiler, water harvesters, photovoltaic’s, passive ventilation and heat recovery systems.
Both of these projects were performed under partnered contracts with the principal contractor. A.C. Webb was selected and appointed as the electrical contractor at an early stage, allowing our involvement in the system design and development from the very beginning of the project resulting in two top specification, high quality installations. |
